44、略。因此英語(yǔ)長(zhǎng)句漢譯時(shí),首先要弄清原文句子主干之間的語(yǔ)法關(guān)系,抓住句子的中心思想和各層意思之間的時(shí)間和邏輯關(guān)系,然后根據(jù)漢語(yǔ)行文習(xí)慣重新加以安排,通常是將主句和從屬部分及修飾部分盡可能轉(zhuǎn)化為漢語(yǔ)的并列謂語(yǔ)形式,用逗號(hào)、分號(hào)等分開,省去不必要的關(guān)聯(lián)詞。 It gives high rewards to individuals who perform important tasks such as surgery, makes heroes out of individuals for unusual or dangerous achievements such as flying

47、文習(xí)慣表達(dá)的誤譯 常見英語(yǔ)文體主要分為書面語(yǔ)、口語(yǔ)、俚語(yǔ)等。當(dāng)譯者拿到英語(yǔ)原文時(shí),在充分理解語(yǔ)意的基礎(chǔ)上,應(yīng)注意原文文體特點(diǎn),選擇與之相對(duì)應(yīng)的中文語(yǔ)言進(jìn)行翻譯。在翻譯中,只有做到“意思”和“風(fēng)格”都忠實(shí),才能保持原文(話)的精神和面貌,保持原來(lái)的特點(diǎn)。也就是說(shuō),口語(yǔ)應(yīng)譯得口語(yǔ)化,書面文章應(yīng)譯得像書面語(yǔ)言。 Temples and statures decay, but books survives. ×寺廟和神像會(huì)腐爛,而書籍會(huì)留下來(lái)。(這樣的翻譯很難表現(xiàn)出文章的內(nèi)在神韻。) 寺廟會(huì)坍塌,神像會(huì)腐朽,而書籍卻流芳百世。(通過(guò)采用正規(guī)對(duì)仗的書面語(yǔ)言,原句的內(nèi)涵被充分表達(dá)出來(lái)。)
