6、is my favorite. 吃蛋糕是我最喜歡的事。(2) 動詞不定式作主語,其形式是: It is+adj.+for sb.+to do sth. (it為形式主語)。例如:Its very dangerous to ski here. 在這里滑雪很危險。2 【疑問】 Chinese people are good at table tennis.中的good后怎么用at,而不用for?【解答】 這就要求我們掌握be good at和be good for的不同了。 be good at = do well in意為“擅長,做得好”;be good for意思是“有益于;對有好處”。例如:
7、Im good at swimming. 我擅長游泳。Swimming is good for our health. 游泳有益于健康。3 【疑問】 She is leaving for school. 怎么翻譯?【解答】翻譯這句話,關鍵是要知道leave for的含義。leave是短暫動詞,其進行時可表示將來, leave for意思是“向出發(fā),向去,啟程去”。所以,這句話的意思是“她要去上學”。有的同學把leave for錯誤理解為“離開”,這樣,與其本意恰好相反。4 【疑問】 I dont like sitting behind the other students.中other前面為什
8、么加the?【解答】 other意思是“其他的,別的”,可用作代詞或形容詞。用作形容詞時,后接復數(shù)名詞;若前面用the修飾,則表示特指,指除去一部分以外所有的。例如: There are 40 students in our class. There are thirty boys and the other students are girls. 我們班有40名學生,30名男生,其余的是女生。5 【疑問】 They need to learn English. 中need有什么用法?【解答】 need意為“需要”,它既可以用作實義動詞,又可以用作情態(tài)動詞。用作實義動詞時,后接動詞不定式;而用
9、作情態(tài)動詞時,后接動詞原形。例如:He needs to get up earlier.他需要起得更早些。 Need your grandmother learn English? 你奶奶需要學英語嗎? Yes, she need. 是的,她需要。小熊維尼和小豬在跟跳跳虎學蹦跳呢,大家學得挺快的。你看,跳跳虎反而走慢了。跳跳虎就用英語大喊一聲: I walk slowlier than you two. 哦,慢!這句話有錯誤。請看“三級跳”的第二跳:某些雙音節(jié)和多音節(jié)的形容詞或副詞的比較級,是在這些詞的前面加more。如: dangerous more dangerous quickly mo
10、re quicklyGrammar:比較等級構(gòu)成的規(guī)則變化:一般情況加-er,以e結(jié)尾只加-r;輔y變?yōu)閕加-er,雙寫規(guī)則記住它。如遇多音節(jié),請使用more。再多學一點兒,各位請注意:1.當比較級連用時表示“越來越”。由more構(gòu)成的比較級要用作more and more.。如:We see more and more clearly. 我們看得越來越清晰。2. 在Which., A or B?句型中,也會用到我。如:Which do you like better, apples or oranges? 蘋果、桔子你更喜歡哪個?3. 在含有介詞短語of the two時,我前面要加the。
11、如:He is the cleverer of the two boys. 兩個男孩中他比較聰明。4. 比較的對象一定要一致。如:這本書比瑪麗的新。誤 This book is newer than Mary.正 This book is newer than Marys. 5. 注意比較雙方若在同一范圍內(nèi),一定不要錯把自身列入比較對象,要使用other;若不在同一范圍內(nèi)比較,則不使用other, 而是直接跟比較對象。如: Shanghai is larger than any other city in China. Shanghai is larger than Wuxi. 你看,比較等級
