【課 時】第1課時
一、教學目標
1 .能夠聽懂、會說以下單詞:inventor, artist, scientist, poet, writer, American, French, Danish, poem, paint,并嘗試借助拼讀規(guī)律記憶單詞。
2 .能使用之前學習過的句子進行對話,操練本單元的主要詞匯。
3 .能根據(jù)語境從上述單詞中選擇恰當?shù)脑~或短語填空。
二、教學建議
A. Listen and number.
1.準備活動
(1)教師請學生說出自
2、己喜歡的名人。
(2)教師創(chuàng)設語境:We know many famous people. There is a museum of famous people. Lefs go and have a look.教師把五幅名人海報張貼在黑板上。
(3)教師帶領學生運用已學過的語言討論五幅圖畫,初步感知文本。
T: Who is he?
Ss: He is Li Bai.
T: Li Bai was Chinese. What did he do?
Ss: He was a poet.
T: Yes. He was a poet. He wrote many beautiful p
3、oems, such as In A Quiet Night.
Tip:教師讓學生感知五位名人,尤其是三位外國名人的名字。
2.聽力活動
(1)呈現(xiàn)新知
教師請學生觀察 Get Ready 圖,教師說:Joy, Lily, Andy, Bill and their teacher come to the museum of famous people, too. Let's listen what they are talking about.教 師播放兩遍錄音,請學生根據(jù)錄音內(nèi)容排序,之后同伴互查。
(2)學習新知
教師請學生再次觀察Get Ready圖,并在核對答案的同時,學習
4、九個目標詞
匯。
Tip:l.教師可以讓學生說一說自己所了解的其他名人,以此鞏固目標詞匯, 如教師說:Anderson was a famous writer. Who else was a famous writer?然后引導 學生說:Laoshe was a famous writer.
2.教師出示四個國家的國旗:China, the USA, France, Demark,讓學生對比 學習國家和國籍的不同。教師說:Laoshe was from China. He was Chinese.
(3)操練新知
教師再次播放錄音,請學生跟讀。
B. Lefs talk.
1 .
5、教師帶領學生觀察Get Ready圖,模仿書中句型說一說。
2 .教師和一名學生示范對話,并適時呈現(xiàn)和教授paint一詞。
3 .學生結對,任選黑板上兩位名人中的一位,模仿B項中的對話內(nèi)容進行 練習。之后教師請三對學生到講臺前匯報。
C. Let's write.
1 .教師示范:Today, we have learned about five famous people. I like Thomas Edison best. I want to write something about him. This is Thomas Edison. He was American. He was an inventor. He was good at inventing things.(教師把這四句話呈 現(xiàn)在PPT上,把invent一詞后面的ing描紅)
2 .學生模仿教師的介紹完成李白和徐悲鴻的人物介紹。
3 .學生匯報自己的人物介紹作品。
