1. 被動語態(tài)
當主語為動作的執(zhí)行者時, 謂語的形式為主動語態(tài); 當主語為動作的承受者時, 謂語要用被動語態(tài)。
e.g. Many people speak English. (主動語態(tài), 句子的主語many people是動作speak的執(zhí)行者)

Tell students to read the sentences in 4a and try to fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.
