Educational Objectives:
1. To master the adverbial clause of reason( as)
2. Express reasons.
3. Describe a school..
Teaching Objectives:
1. Practice Ss’ ability to communicate

3. Create a chance for Ss to make dialogue.

1. Raise the interest of learning English by encouraging and stimulating the students to participate in English activities.

I. Warming up
1. Show a picture , let them talk about it freely.
2. Tell them something about the information about the school.
3. Show some questions, let them finish them in five minutes.
T: Let’s look at the picture, we can answer the three questions, can you finish them in five minutes?
S:
4、 Yes, of course.
T: ok, I will check you later. Do it quickly.
T: Ok, let’s check the answers.
S: 1. It was set up in 1954.
2. It consists of thirty classrooms,three computer rooms,three Language Labs and
ten teachers’ offices.
3. It offers the following basic courses: Chinese, Maths, English,

T: We can find the adverbial clause of reason(as).
As =Since 作"既然"、"由于"解,引導原因狀語從句,常用來表示已為人們所知或顯而易見的原因或理由。
如: As he’s been ill for ages,

As / Since you're not feeling well, you may stay at home.
As he wasn't ready , we went without him.
Since , for 與as的區(qū)別.
1.since較as意味略強。它們都可以表示較明顯的或?qū)Ψ揭阎脑???煞謩e譯作“既然”和“由于”。since和as從句一般放在主句之前。例如:
Since his method doesn't work, let's try yours.既然他的方法不行,我們就試試你的吧。
As I didn't

2.for是并列連詞,位于兩句之中,連接并列的分句。當for表示因果關(guān)系時,可與because換用,但在for前面須用逗號。例如:
You couldn't have seen him, because/for he wasn't there.你不可能見到他,因為當時他不在那里。
for除此之外了表示因果關(guān)系外,還可以述說對主句中的事實或看法的解釋。例如:
It will rain, for it's getting dark, 要下雨了,因為天氣越來越暗了。

通過本課教授,發(fā)現(xiàn)積極創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,會極大的激發(fā)學生學習欲望和積極性,本課我主要采用了任務(wù)型教學法,比單純教師講授更有效果,今后還會多多采用。
