2、ned only $1 a year as CEO of Apple,but held 5.426 million Apple shares,as well as 138 million shares in Disney.Forbes estimated (估算) his net wealth at $8.3 billion in 2010,making him the 42nd wealthiest American. Steve Paul Jobs was born in San Francisco in 1955,and was adopted at birth by Paul Jobs
3、 and Clara Jobs.The Jobs family moved to Mountain View,California when Steve was five years old.Paul Jobs,a machinist for a company that made lasers (激光),taught his son basic electronics and how to work with his hands.Asked in a 1995 interview what he wanted to pass on to his children,Jobs replied,“
4、Just to try to be as good a father to them as my father was to me.I think about that every day of my life.” He refused to recognize and meet his biological father all his life. Jobs and Steve Wozniak met in 1971.In 1976,Wozniak invented the Apple I computer.Jobs,Wozniak,and Ronald Wayne founded Appl
5、e Computer in the garage of Jobss parents.In 1985 Jobs was removed from Apple because of a power struggle but he returned in 1996.On June 29,2007,Apple entered the cell phone business with the introduction of the iPhone,a multitouch display cell phone,which also included the features of an iPod and,
6、with its own mobile browser (瀏覽器),revolutionized the mobile browsing scene. Jobs died at his California home around 3 pm.on October 5,2011,due to cancer.Apples corporate website displayed an obituary (訃告),which read:Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius,and the world has lost an amazing human being.Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor.Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built,and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. 謝謝觀看!
