2019版中考英語(yǔ)三輪復(fù)習(xí) 閱讀回填練習(xí)2 題一:A. Later I received 50 cents an hour. B. Before long, she let me sit there by myself. C. I ended my selling a record amount of cosmetics. D. Today I still carry that lesson with me: I listen to customers. E. My grandma’s trust taught me how to handle responsibility. F. Soon I found myself looking more beautiful than ever before. G. Watching my money grow was more rewarding than anything I could have bought. I was ten when I first sat with my grandmother behind the cashier(收銀臺(tái))in her general store. 1 I quickly learned the importance of treating customers politely and saying “thank you.” At first I was paid in candy. 2 I worked every day after school, and during the summer and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. My father helped me set up a bank account. 3 By the time I was 12, My grandmother thought I had done such a good job that she promoted me to selling cosmetics(化妝品). I developed the ability to look customers directly in the eye. Even though I was just a kid, women would ask me such things as “What color do you think I should wear?” I took a real interest in their questions and was able to translate what they wanted into makeup(化妝)ideas. 4 The job taught me a valuable lesson: to be a successful salesperson, you didn’t need to be a Rocket scientist—you needed to be a great listener. 5 Except they are no longer women purchasing cosmetics from me; instead, they are kids who tell me which toys they would like to see designed and developed. 題二: A. If they are saving up for their first car B. When they refuse to have an after-school job C. It is a good idea for all teenagers to have an after-school job D. The majority of adults in the U.S. had a job during their teenage years E. They can’t learn the meaning of hard work if everything is handed to them F. Having an after-school job will help your teenagers know their direction G. But it is less likely that your children will get into trouble if they are working five evenings a week When your children become teenagers, it’s time to start considering an after-school job. 1 , so why shouldn’t our children? When your child has a job, he/she is responsible for getting to work on time and doing his/her job correctly. An after-school job is a good way to teach your teenager about responsibility. By allowing your teenagers to have an after-school job you allow them to learn about money management. 2 , they will have to manage how much money they can spend. They will realize that they can’t spend every dollar they make if they want to reach their goal. You are probably saying, “Teens will get into trouble whether they have a job or not.” 3 . Depending on the distance from work to home, you could allow your children some extra time to get home after work. This will ensure that they don’t feel rushed but can still get home on time. It’s a good idea to show your teenagers that hard work is what it takes to finish everything in their lives. 4 . What will they expect when they are out on their own if they have never had to work hard for what they want? 5 . All teenagers, no matter what their parents’ financial situation is, should have a job. They will need the experience before they do get out in the real world.- 1.請(qǐng)仔細(xì)閱讀文檔,確保文檔完整性,對(duì)于不預(yù)覽、不比對(duì)內(nèi)容而直接下載帶來(lái)的問題本站不予受理。
