Inside a classroom, you can see desks and chairs in lines. They always face the blackboard. Usually, teachers like teaching on a platform. But not all classrooms are like this. What are classrooms like in the US? Lets take a look! In the USA, classrooms usually have single desks for each student. Most of the time, they all face the whiteboard at the front of the classroom. But when there is an activity, children can move their desks freely. For example, If there is a group discussion, two or three students will move their desks to sit face to face. If they have a music class, they usually sit in a big circle. Unlike Chinese students, USA children dont have a fixed classroom. They change classrooms if the classes are different. (五) (xx淄博周村期末)Different weather makes people feel different. It has an effect on health, intelligence(智力) and feelings. In August, it is very hot and wet in the southem part of the United States. People there have heart trouble and other kinds of health problems during this month. In the Northeast and the Middle West, it is very hot at some times and very cold at other times. People in these states have more heart trouble after the weather changes in February or March. The weather can also influence intelligence. For example, in a 1983 report by scientists, IQ of a group of students was very high when a very strong wind came, but after the strong wind, their IQ was 10% lower. The wind can help people have more intelligence. Very hot weather, on the other hand, can make it lower. Weather also has a strong influence peoples feelings. Winter may be a bad time for thin people. They usually feel cold during these months. They might feel unhappy during the cold weather. But fat people may have a hard time in hot summer. (六) (2019原創(chuàng))Waste can be seen everywhere in the school. Some students ask for more food than they can eat and others often forget to turn off the lights when they leave the classroom. They say they can afford these things. But I dont agree with them. Waste can bring a lot of problems. Although China is rich in some resources(資源), we are short of others, for example, fresh water. It is reported that we will have no coal or oil to use in 100 years. So if we go on wasting our resources, what can we use in the future and where can we move? Think about it. I think we should say no to the students who waste things every day. Everybody should stop wasting as soon as possible. In our everyday life, we can do many things to prevent(阻止) waste from happening, for example, turn off the water taps when we finish washing, turn off the lights when we leave the classroom, try not to order more food than we need, and so on. Little by little, everything will be changed. Waste can be stopped one day, if we do our best. (八) (xx四川廣安岳池三模改編)My two little daughters and I usually go out and help others on Thankful Thursday. Last Thursday we were going to buy lunch for the beggars(乞丐) in the street. Then we noticed a small, old woman, asking for pocket money. We gave her our last lunch bag. Before we got into the car, she started to speak to us, “No one has ever done anything like this for me before, ” she said with a smile. “Well, Im glad that we were the first,” I answered. “So, when will you eat your lunch,” I asked. She just looked at me with her big, tired brown eyes and said, “Oh, dear, Im not going to eat this lunch. You see, I have a little daughter. I usually cant buy her favorite food, but today she will be so happy! ” I dont know if the kids noticed the tears in my eyes. If everyone has a car and drives anywhere they want to go, there will be serious traffic problems on the roads. Luckily, the train is a good form of public transport. British people use trains a lot. This is especially for people who are traveling from London to Paris. Every day about 20 trains leave London. They travel at a very high speed and people feel glad that it only takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach Paris by train. Its much faster to travel by train than by bus or car. This is because people have to drive cars or buses very carefully and slowly for many reasons, such as speed limits or traffic jams. However, when you are traveling by train, the speed is almost the same and there is no traffic jam for a train. Besides, London people think taking a train is one of the safest ways of traveling on the ground. Trains need quite a number of quality tests while they are being made. More importantly, they have to go through many safety checks before they are used on the rail track. Whats more, trains in Britain are fortable and provide fine services for their users. When you are on a London train, you will find that the train has fortable tables and seats where people can sit. (二) (2019預測)There are mainly three different learning types: Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic. Visual learners learn best by seeing. Auditory learners learn best by hearing. Kinesthetic learners learn best by doing. Tips for Visual Learners Pay attention! For visual learners, this is very important! If your teacher uses a PowerPoint, watch the pictures carefully. Take notes by drawing charts and connecting ideas instead of just copying down a list. Mark your notes or your note cards in different colors. This will help your brain in keeping all of the information separate. Tips for Auditory Learners Again, pay attention! If you arent listening while the lecture is happening, then as an auditory learner, youre missing the easiest way for you to learn. If your teacher allows you to record the lecture, record it for future listening. If you find that taking notes stops you from listening, ask a friend if you can borrow his or her notes or write down everything you remember right after the lesson. Tips for Kinesthetic Learners The first point is paying attention once again! For kinesthetic learners, its especially important to take notes either by writing or typing, in order to actively get information as you receive it. Make use of laboratories and other class activities. Focus on what youre learning from the experience and pay close attention to the process that you go through. Visualize! That is to imagine yourself picking up information and putting it into a category(類別).This may sound silly, but in this way youre “doing” something without actually physically doing it. Rewrite notes and reread information.Try to translate the information into examples. 請根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,完成下列表格。 Some Tips for Different Kinds of Learners Learning Types Ways of Learning Best Advice 1.
