2019-2020年牛津譯林版高中英語必修五Unit 2《The environment》(Wele to the unit)教案 教 材:牛津高中英語(模塊五)高二上學期 文檔內(nèi)容:教學設計—教案 單 元:Unit 2 The environment 板 塊:Wele to the unit & Word power Thoughts on the design: 本節(jié)課是以wele to the Unit為導入的詞匯教學課,主要是訓練學生如何用相關的詞匯來描述環(huán)境污染和環(huán)境保護的內(nèi)容。設計上以北京的申奧阻力引出世界范圍內(nèi)環(huán)境的惡化,使學生了解人為或自然所造成的各種環(huán)境問題,掌握與環(huán)境相關的詞匯。面對這些問題,邀請學生嘗試設計與北京奧運村類似的環(huán)保型旅館,過程中學習帶有“eco-”前綴的復合詞。最后,通過完成短文的形式來檢查學生對新詞的理解程度,使學生加深對新詞的理解。 Teaching aims: After learning these two sections, the students will be able to 1. learn words related to the environment. 2. know the current situation of environment. 3. know the importance of environment protection. 4. use the words about environment as many as possible. Teaching procedures: Step 1 lead in (PPT 4-20) 1. Teacher: What is the most impressive event in xx? Students: The Olympic Games in Beijing. (PPT 4-5) 2. Teacher: But do you know some people were against holding the Olympic Games in Beijing? Why? ( Because of the climate in Beijing) (PPT 6-7) 3. Teacher: Actually, the environment has bee a serious problem in the world. Can you think of other environmental problems nowadays? (PPT 9-10) 4. Show students pictures of other environmental problems. (PPT 11-20) [Explanation] 以08奧運 這一時事熱點作為導入,引起學生的興趣,使學生有話可說、想說,并由北京沙塵暴自然過渡到全球環(huán)境問題。Wele to the Unit 以及 word power的B部分都設計到一些人為或自然原因造成的災害,因此合并處理。 Step 2 vocabulary learning and extension (PPT 21-32) 1. With all these problems, what can we do to protect our environment? (PPT 21) 2. Government in China put forward themes of the Olympic Games and made sure that the Olympic Village is environmentally friendly. (PPT 22-24) 3. What is an environmentally friendly hotel in your mind? (PPT25-28) ① What type of energy does an environmentally friendly hotel use? Natural, safe energy from the sun, solar energy, instead of digging up Earth to find fossil fuels. ② How does an environmentally friendly hotel wash the sheets? Eco-friendly washing power . ③ What other features does an environmentally friendly hotel have? [Explanation] 由環(huán)境問題引發(fā)學生思考,我們應該為環(huán)境保護做些什么?這一環(huán)節(jié)給學生提供了思考以及開口說話的機會。再由北京的綠色奧運主題,給學生介紹環(huán)保節(jié)能的奧運村,引導學生描繪理想中的環(huán)保型住宅,為下一步驟的閱讀做鋪墊。 4. Read the introduction of an environmentally friendly hotel Ecoville and find out words related to environment protection. (PPT29-30) ecotourists, ecosystem, eco-friendly, ecoville 5. Learn words that include the prefix ‘eco-’.
