Module 3 Heroes Unit 1 She trained hard,so she became a great player later. 【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】 詞匯 including,medal,attend,abroad,degree,whatever,amazing,will,victory,simply 句型 1.She is my hero because shes one of the best table tennis players in the world … 2.She trained hard,so she became a great player later. 3.Whatever she does,she never gives up! 4.Deng says that she isnt cleverer than anyone else,but she has a very strong will. 5.I think shes a good student as well as a good player. 重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn) 1.本單元詞匯和重點(diǎn)句子。 2.狀語(yǔ)從句:原因、目的和結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句。 【教學(xué)思路】 本單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容是第三模塊中的第一單元,通過提供必要的詞匯、背景等為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一個(gè)全新的語(yǔ)言材料的氛圍。讓學(xué)生在表演對(duì)話的同時(shí)記住對(duì)話中出現(xiàn)的日常交際用語(yǔ)和學(xué)過的時(shí)態(tài)句型。讓學(xué)生在輕松的環(huán)境下獲取知識(shí),并能調(diào)動(dòng)他們的學(xué)習(xí)積極性。 【教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備】 黑板,錄音機(jī),卡片,多媒體等。 【教學(xué)過程】 Step 1 Warming up 1.師生問候。 2.師生對(duì)話,談?wù)撟约合矚g的偶像明星。如: T:I think you all have your favorite star,right? S:Yes. T:Who is your favorite actor? S1.… 活動(dòng)小結(jié):通過學(xué)生自由談?wù)撟约合矚g的偶像明星導(dǎo)入新課,活躍了課堂氣氛,也能讓學(xué)生比較迅速地進(jìn)入到學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)中,同時(shí)調(diào)動(dòng)他們的學(xué)習(xí)積極性。 Step 2 Presentation 1.學(xué)習(xí)新單詞。 根據(jù)單詞表上的音標(biāo)學(xué)習(xí)新詞,引出有關(guān)的知識(shí)。 (1)用多媒體展示一張出國(guó)的圖片,引出新詞,abroad副詞,“在國(guó)外,到國(guó)外”。 (2)連詞whatever“不管什么”,引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句。 (3)學(xué)習(xí)新詞amazing“驚人的,極好的”。 (4)助動(dòng)詞will“將要,將會(huì)”用于一般將來時(shí)。引出新詞性,名詞,“意志,決心”。 (5)用多媒體展示勝利的圖片,從而引出新詞victory“獲勝,勝利”。 2.操練單詞。 活動(dòng)小結(jié):對(duì)于九年級(jí)的學(xué)生,因已經(jīng)有了一定的英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ),通過自己用音標(biāo)的形式拼讀,能加深對(duì)單詞的記憶。 Step 3 Practice & Listening 1.Look at the picture and answer the questions. T:Lets look at the picture.What can you see? Lets describe it by referring to the two questions. Q1:Can you tell me who she is? Q2:Why is she famous? 請(qǐng)幾名學(xué)生分別寫下描述圖片的句子并讀出來,然后讓其他學(xué)生判斷所描述的句子的準(zhǔn)確性和有無(wú)語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤。 2.Listen to the tape and check the answers. (1)教師播放教材上的錄音,讓學(xué)生認(rèn)真聽錄音兩遍,回答Activity 2中的問題。 (2)教師再讓學(xué)生看書上關(guān)于聽力的問題,然后再播放一遍錄音,讓學(xué)生核對(duì)答案。 活動(dòng)小結(jié):讓學(xué)生多聽、多跟讀,加強(qiáng)其語(yǔ)感、語(yǔ)速,培養(yǎng)其語(yǔ)流、語(yǔ)調(diào)。聽、讀完后以問題的形式把對(duì)話再次展現(xiàn),讓學(xué)生更能理解對(duì)話內(nèi)容。 Step 4 Reading 1.Let students listen to the dialogue and pay attention to the words pronunciation. 教師播放對(duì)話部分的錄音,讓學(xué)生仔細(xì)聽錄音,注意重要單詞的語(yǔ)音和語(yǔ)調(diào)。 2.Let the students translate the dialogue. (1)教師讓學(xué)生四人為一組,給出幾分鐘的時(shí)間,讓學(xué)生以組為單位來讀對(duì)話,并對(duì)對(duì)話進(jìn)行逐句翻譯,最后確定每句的最佳翻譯。 (2)讓學(xué)生分角色讀對(duì)話,讓每組學(xué)生分別對(duì)句子進(jìn)行翻譯,教師給出自己的意見,選出最佳翻譯方案,對(duì)翻譯最恰當(dāng)?shù)男〗M予以表?yè)P(yáng)。 當(dāng)學(xué)生翻譯對(duì)話遇到困難時(shí),教師應(yīng)及時(shí)給予幫助和指導(dǎo)。 3.Act out the dialogue in Activity 3. 教師選幾組學(xué)生分角色表演對(duì)話,鍛煉學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。 活動(dòng)小結(jié):找?guī)捉M學(xué)生分角色表演這個(gè)對(duì)話,使學(xué)生進(jìn)入情境中,能更好地理解對(duì)話。同時(shí)也鍛煉了學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。 Step 5 Discussion & Consolidation 1.Complete the table. 讓學(xué)生根據(jù)Activity 3中的的對(duì)話,兩人或幾人一組進(jìn)行討論,并完成后面的表格。 2.Ask students to complete the sentences so that they are true for Deng Yaping. (1)She says she is not ____________________________________________. (2)She has a very _______________________________________. (3)She helped __________________________________ (4)Whatever she does,she _________________________________. 3.Ask students to complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box.Then check the answers. (1)attended (2)abroad (3)cleverer (4)will (5)victory 活動(dòng)小結(jié):通過圖表形式,一目了然地把與鄧亞萍有關(guān)的事跡展現(xiàn)出來。 Step 6 Pronunciation & Speaking 1.聽Activity 6中的句子,讓學(xué)生邊聽邊標(biāo)出停頓的位置。 2.再聽一遍對(duì)話,邊聽邊跟讀,并注意停頓。 3.Let students talk about their heroes in pairs. 活動(dòng)小結(jié):學(xué)生自己先做,然后再集體校正答案,這樣能使學(xué)生能更好地理解原文,靈活掌握所學(xué)知識(shí)。 Step 7 Homework 1.Memorize the words,main phrases and sentences in this unit. 2.Tell something about your hero to your parents. 【板書設(shè)計(jì)】 Unit 1 She trained hard,so she became a great player later.
