2019年四年級英語下冊 Unit 3 Lesson 18 Are you short or tall教案 冀教版 一、教學目標: 1、知識目標: 學習句型How tall are you? I’m _____ metres tall.以及形容詞比較級taller, shorter 2、能力目標: ⑴能夠聽、說、讀、寫句型How tall are you? I’m _____ metres tall. ⑵能夠在真實的情境中正確使用How tall are you? I’m _____ metres tall.來描述自己和他人的身高。 ⑶能夠通過比較身高,使用taller和 shorter來描述。 3、情感目標: 根據小學生的特點,激發(fā)學生持久的學習興趣,鼓勵學生積極參與,大膽表達,團結協作。 二、教學重點及難點: 教學重點: 正確使用How tall are you? I’m _____ metres tall.來描述自己和他人的身高。 教學難點: 通過比較,正確使用taller和 shorter來描述身邊事物。 三、解決重點難點的方法: 通過以學內容How old are you?I’m _____ years old.來引出今天的重點句型。 通過圖片及學生形象的展示出tall、taller和short、shorter,讓學生能夠在真實的情境中進行練習。 四、教具準備: 磁帶、錄音機、圖片、單詞卡片、尺子 五、教學時間: 一課時 六、教學過程: (一)Class Opening: 1、Greeting: T:Good morning,boys and girls . S:Good morning,Miss Li. T:Thank you .Sit down,please. 2、Review: T: What day is today? S1: It’s Monday, April fifteenth. T: How’s the weather today? S2: The weather is warm and sunny . T: When is your birthday? S3: My birthday is _____ . T: How old are you? S3: I’m _____ years old. T: Do you know how old I am? Can you guess? (讓學生去猜測自己的年齡,激起學生的好奇心,讓學生迅速進入到學英語的氛圍之中。) T: Do you know how tall am I? 教師利用手勢提示學生,使學生明白教師在說身高。 T: I’m 1.67 metres tall. (二)New Concepts: 1、教學小數的讀法 T:These numbers are your ages. Now, I’ll take a magic to make them small. Look carefully ! 教師在剛才的年齡的個位和十位之間加上“.”,How magical. T:教讀這個神氣的“.” , “point”In Chinese it means “點”,Read after me “point, point”,讓學生讀一讀由年齡變成的小數,指名讀。One by one. 2、利用教具尺子 T: What is it? S1: It’s a ruler.(tape measrue) T: How long is it? S1: It’s five metres. 教學單詞metre(s),之后把剛才的小數標在尺子正確的位置上。加上單位名稱讓學生再一次讀。 one point one metres one point three metres one point seven metres 3、教學句型How tall are you? I’m _____ metres tall. (1)分別出示姚明和劉翔、以及劉翔和潘長江的合影的圖片 T: What’s his name? How tall is he? Who is tall? Who is short? S1: His name is Yao Ming. Yao Ming is 2.26 metres tall. S2: His name is Liu Xiang. Liu Xiang is 1.98 metres tall. S3: Pan Chang Jiang is 1.6 metres tall. 讓學生通過圖片的比較,用漢語說出更高,更低.教師教學taller, shorter并板書. 讓學生練習說出句子: Liu Xiang is tall. Yao Ming is taller. Pan Chang Jiang is shorter. Yao Ming is taller. than Liu Xiang. Pan Chang Jiang is shorter than Liu Xiang. (2)、Do you know how tall are you?讓學生用新句型說說自己的身高. S1、How tall are you? S2、I’m _____ metres tall. (3)、師生對比,用short 、tall 來形容。 (4)、T: Do you want to know your friends? How tall is your friend? Ask him or her“How tall are you?”教師引導生生問答,鞏固操練新句型。 用上:This is _____. He/She is _____. He/She is_____ years old. He/She is ______ metres tall.______________ is taller.______________ is shorter. (5)、Listen to the tape and find these answers: How tall is Kim? How tall is Danny?
